Rekadahena is the largest among five estates of Evergreen Group and offers its high quality fresh tea leaf production through its sister factory, the Rekadahena Tea Factory. Rekadahena makes every effort to follow the best agricultural practices with special attention to the minimal use of pesticides in its tea cultivation. Therefore, Rekadahena could be proudly declared as pesticide free tea cultivation.

The estate maintains its own standardized tea nursery and now a system is placed to provide high quality tea nursery plants for neighbouring tea smallholders under an installment based easy payment scheme with the expectation of improved quality of Sri Lankan, specially the low grown, tea.
